Routine 0 – 3 We encourage toddlers to become as independent as possible, allowing them to do any jobs that are developmentally appropriate. They love to feel like big kids and are fostering their self-worth. We follow a routine like the older kids but with more flexibility based on the children and their needs.
It is a Child Care Regulation that all group care centers provide opportunity for outdoor play every day, weather permitting. We love to play and get dirty! Children must be prepared for whatever the weather or season is.
We ask that each child come to the center with the following items: Complete change of clothes, Water bottle, Bedding, Pillow and stuffy if desired, Plastic soled indoor shoes, Muddy Buddy and mittens for cold and rainy weather, Emergency bag. PLEASE LABEL ALL BELONGINGS
Open communication between staff and parents is essential, particularly as it applies to the growth and development of the children. Parents should feel that the staff is accessible to discuss any aspect of their child’s development, family or culture, or the child’s happiness and satisfaction with the program. Parents may arrange to have a private conversation about their child with the manager. In addition, regular communication will be provided by monthly newsletters and the parent information board at the entrance of the daycare.
At registration half the first month’s fee will be required, to hold your child’s spot. This is nonrefundable but will go towards their first month’s payment.
